PLIDA stands for Progetto Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri (Dante Alighieri Italian Language Project). The PLIDA exams can certify your competence in Italian as foreign language and test your ability to use the language at different levels of complexity, from level A1 to level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference. PLIDA ecams for adults include levels A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. 

The PLIDA Junior exams are for teenage students aged 13 to 18. They require the same general language skills as the PLIDA exams for adults, but the tests employ texts and examples of language in contexts that are familiar to teenagers in this age group. The exam levels offered in the PLIDA Junior certification are A1, A2, B1, B2. 

The Comitato di Manila is recognized as authotized PLIDA Center and holds PLIDA exams throughout the year at the Ateneo de Manila University located in Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City, 1108 Metro Manila.
